U18 Reds: What the club is all about. Well done to Steve Van Dyk and his U18 Reds team.

So proud of this team, from winning just one game in a season at U14s to winning their league at U17s and competing in the highest SYL division at U18s including a run to the league cup semi finals. But it isn’t the winning that makes me proud, it is how they play, with determination, humility, commitment and respect. Always giving their best and supporting each other, that is what made them into an excellent team. We hope they take those qualities into life, to make the world a better place, these are the real achievements of the KPR community.

U18 Girls Awards Night

They were the pioneers for girls football at KPR and sadly all clear off to University in September. Some of the players have been at the club 11 years.

Our Girls

Congratulations to our U13 Reds who were runners-up at the SCI Football tournament at Weston Super Mare. The girls received their trophies from Arsenal W.F.C. and Lionesses legend Rachel Yankey OBE.

Brilliant performance from the Girls U14 Blues in winning the League Cup trophy this season.

Congrats to U13 Blues – divisional runners up this season.

Congrats to Amelia Cripps of the U9 Blues in scoring 46 goals this season. Wow!!

U15 Purples

One of our U15 Purples team members was recently diagnosed with leukaemia and so was unable to take part in the last two games of the season. We dedicated a game (and win 4-2) to Mihail and his dad (Brane) who have been regular and valued members of our KPR Team and community respectively. We displayed their flag of North Macedonia for a team photo and had the boys sign it after the game in tribute to Mihail and his family.

U12 Whites

Congratulations for Alex Petrie for scoring his 100th KPR goal on the way to winning the division in fine style!!

Well done to Andy Ciechan and team!

The U12s Reds finished R/up in the U12 Super league and should be promoted to the Championship for U13s next season.

U14 Reds

Well done to the U14 Reds who finished runners up in the Conference Division

He’s one of our own!! Great FA cup run and promotion for Sonny Black and Cray Valley

The league campaign produced 95 points from 38 matches with just one defeat. 103 league goals scored and the best defensive record in the division, conceding just 32. On the road in the league they remained unbeaten winning 18 out of 19 games with just the one solitary draw at Ramsgate. Club record breaking runs in both the FA Trophy reaching the second round proper and the FA Cup taking Charlton Athletic to a replay in the first round proper with a 1-1 draw. Truly a season to remember!

Man of the match in FA Cup first round proper against Charlton Athletic, which was played at the Valley and broadcasted on BBC2 and around the world. Cray valley had to play in 5 qualifying rounds before reaching that stage against Charlton. Three of those matches ended in draw’s which required replay’s to be played, meaning cray valley had played 8 matches during qualifying before Charlton played their first match.
