The FA Level 1 course will be run by ourselves at the University of Westminster sports grounds, Chiswick (W4 3UH). It provides a foundation to understanding the principles of coaching and will help to support the children in enjoying the game. It is necessary for all of those parents/volunteers who are directly involved with the teams.

You are certainly not required to have played to a high standard to take this course as it concentrates far more on the fundamental areas of coaching, along with the organising and administration involved with running teams at this level.

It is a really useful and enjoyable course which we have successfully run on a number of occasions. As a club we are required to maintain our coaching credentials so please consider your availability. It will really help with your understanding of the ethos of the club and in ensuring that you and your children get the most out of the experience.

The course will run on the following dates and attendance on ALL days is mandatory in order to complete the course.
A first Aid session will also be held on Monday 15th January at our club house from 7pm-10pm.
13/01 – 09:30am – 5:30pm
20/01 – 09:30am – 5:30pm
27/01 – 09:30am – 5:30pm
03/02 – 09:30am – 3:00pm (this will include the Safeguarding Children workshop)

This is a course which will be paid for by the club, but where someone fails to attend they will be required to pay the cost.

There are 18 spaces available and you must be 16 years of age at the start of the course.
